The Ankle and Foot Active Rehab Online Workshop will help you differentiate yourself from other health and fitness professions. Learn how to design personalised and targeted programs to keep your client moving at their optimal function.

This workshop will begin with an overview of the anatomy of the foot and ankle joint, followed by some of the most common dysfunctions you may encounter, such as inversion ankle sprains, shin splints, achilles tendinopathy and plantar fasciitis.

In addition, we will discuss how to practically assess the static and dynamic function of the ankle and foot joint, as well as how to analyse the mobility of this joint.

The comprehensive progressive strengthening section will teach you the specific exercise progressions for prevention and rehabilitation of muscles directly influencing the ankle and foot. These include strengthening exercises for the gastrocnemius, soleus, tibialis anterior and posterior, and peroneal muscles, as well as strengthening for the intrinsic muscles of the foot. We have also included a detailed section on stretches and releases, as well as balance and proprioception which are extremely important for both prevention and full rehabilitation following ankle injuries.
